I've been learning how to create games for the NES in assembly and the idea of expanding the limited color palette of the NES (56 colors) crossed my mind.

This tools helps you design sprites that use color switching by testing how two different colors will blend together when blinking at 60 Hz.

When mixing colors this way, they will naturally blink, but for some combinations the blink will be so unoticeable that, in theory, can artificialy expand the color depth of the NES.
